Our founder has personally sold $5MM+ door to door and has been a Business Owner, President, Sales Manager or Consultant of teams that have produced over $300MM+ in revenue involving insurance claims since 2002.  Ty has attended well over 10,000 adjuster appointments in markets all over the country. He has also opened new markets 11 times in locations such as Minneapolis, Chicago, Denver, Cleveland, Omaha, Wichita, Shreveport, etc.

Ty Adams is a talented and seasoned construction executive in the insurance restoration space. He brings a wealth of expertise in areas such as sales and operations staff development, contract acquisition, aggressive revenue growth, profit and loss reporting, cash flow management, systems design and implementation, workflow efficiencies, market expansion, exit strategy positioning and insurance carrier interaction.  With an abundance of business ownership and senior leadership experience, Ty has a strong understanding on how to run a profitable storm restoration business and handle the unique challenges associated with this sector of construction.

Currently, Ty operates a private consulting firm, Adams Business Results Inc, which he founded in early 2018. He serves as Owner and Chief Joy Spreader.  Ty is currently leveraging his expertise with several companies ranging from small-scale startups to mid and large size general contractors offering an array of consulting services including recruiting and hiring, systems integration, business planning, metrics usage and reporting, speaking, training, sales plan development and exit strategy.

Prior to forming Adams Business Results, for over 6 years Ty served as President of Legacy Restoration, LLC where he oversaw company operations to ensure sales performance, production efficiency, gross margins, quality, service, training, and cost-effective management of resources. Legacy is a national storm restoration general contractor. He was the company’s first employee, and helped grow the business to a multi-million, multi-state operation.  The last several years Legacy saw an average of 40-50% growth in revenue and experienced growth to 50+ employees.

Prior to Legacy, Ty had a similar experience in growth and expansion with a storm restoration company he founded in 2003 named Patriot Service Network, Inc. This experience allowed Ty to be involved at every position in a thriving general contractor company from front line sales and marketing, to production management, to operations and finance.  Patriot held locations in Minneapolis, Denver, Cleveland, Omaha, Wichita, Cedar Falls IA and Eau Claire WI.  He gained valuable experience in working through several obstacles relating to a down turned economy while sharpening his risk mitigation skills in the process.

In addition to his ownership and executive career in the construction industry, Ty was a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP), database and software consultant prior to entering the construction field. He gained valuable experience with his assignments involving many fortune 500 companies and government agencies to include; Best Buy, GE Capital, Ambient Consulting, Land O’ Lakes, PSI Net, Cenex, Farmland and the MN Dept of Agriculture. Ty’s technical skills, combined with his people skills and emotional intelligence soon propelled him into the area of training. The analytical skills he developed during his technological career has given him the ability to adapt and thrive in the ever-changing construction industry.

Ty attended the University of Minnesota while concentrating his major study in Sociology and minor study in Economics, Statistics and Computer Science.  During college he worked in the St. Louis Park Schools and served as a Youth Services Coordinator in Community Education. During this time, Ty enjoyed working with young families, children and the community at large. The time spent in the St. Louis Park schools reinforced his commitment to education and civic duty.

Ty is in the business of changing lives, and as such, is deeply committed to organizations that transform people’s lives in a dramatic manner.  The non-profits of Engage Your Destiny, Adult & Teen Challenge and Feed My Starving Children are near and dear to Ty’s heart, along with being involved at his church.
